SeedSwap Social is the new addition to the SeedSwap ecosystem that allows users to create profiles, follow other profiles, add contacts, message friends, share posts and content, and seamlessly interact with one another on the same platform as they can stake and purchase NFTs. The addition allows the ability for creators and fans to interact one another on the same platform as purchases can take place, as well as a place for the NFT community to communicate with one another.
Currently, there are two precipitating needs in the crypto community. The first is: how can people within crypto easily communicate with one another. The second is: how can people who buy and sell using crypto easily keep up-to-date with the creators, artists, sellers, etc from which they purchase things. The former is currently being attempted to be solved by only one well-known platform that neither has staking nor a marketplace. The latter is only solved by a combination of platforms (for example, Twitter and Rarible/Patreon) which is inconvenient for fans and creators alike. SeedSwap will be the first platform to launch a holistic crypto user ecosystem with combined DeFi, Communication, and a Marketplace. This positions SeedSwap to not only be the go-to platform for artists and creators who want to generate fanbases and sell content, but for the crypto community in general.
There also exists another precipitating issue in crypto: how to normalize its use to those who would otherwise not use it, so that mainstream adoption can take place. Many Crypto and DeFi platforms and services are either difficult for the average person to access due to lack of familiarity with the technology, or even worse are difficult for them to understand due to lack of familiarity with the terminology. Many are put off by the inherent difficulty in getting more involved. By integrating components like DeFi and marketplaces into one platform while utilizing a familiar and simple UI that many would be familiar with, it allows them a stepping stone into the crypto world. SeedSwap’s goal is to position itself as a user-friendly platform those in and out of crypto to garner wider use and a larger user base.
The organizational strategy of SeedSwap moving forward is to create services that are simple, easy-to-use for beginners, and allow integration across different areas of crypto for a unique, but convenient experience for the crypto community and beyond. We want to create a platform that is ideal not only for seasoned crypto investors, but for newcomers and more. The SeedSwap Social platform will launch this December. Users will sign-up by connecting their wallet and choosing a username. There will be an exclusive 24-hour pre-access for ILO investors and wallets holding 25,000 SNFT as a thank you for their following and support. The platform will then become available shortly thereafter and we welcome anyone and everyone to try out the platform.
