SeedSwap Expectations

The SeedSwap Development team wanted to give a small update on the progress, state, and future of the project. As many know, we are working on the releases and functional updates to the SeedSwap Social Platform. As this has been affected by delays due to the team's time constraints and other difficulties we have decided to switch from a hard roadmap with dates to ‘phases’ of development. This means that, rather than create dates that may get pushed back due to unforeseen causes, we will operate in phases that don’t have explicit dates but still give an indication of what is happening through updates via our official telegram.

To elaborate on the choice for this the reason is that the entire team has full-time jobs, and as such works on this project in their spare time. The team is working hard to ensure completion of the project and goals, however, we want to ensure people’s expectations are met appropriately, rather than set hard deadlines that — due to our own time constraints — may not be possible. Despite our juggling of personal and professional obligations, the SeedSwap team is still committed to ensuring parts of the project roll out as soon as possible and within appropriate timeframes. The roadmap has been updated to reflect features launching into different phases as opposed to hard deadlines. The team will be visible in communicating developments as they occur to the community.

The majority of updates will be provided via our telegram, updates on the work of our farming contract can be found through our GitHub, we may work on some code locally prior to updating our GitHub to ensure that it has gone through proper testing and is valid.
